I thought I'd make something pretty for the holidays using other peoples pix that I found on Bing . . . I'm sure I will take a few pix myself around here again this year. Halloween light shows are too few, only 2 or 3 clever homes nearby. I might add to this, since the music is 3:55 and my pix total 1:50. "Oh Christmas Tree!"

in my area I took these photographs in the mornings before sunrise where the people tend to leave their christmas lights on from dusk to dawn. I leave mine on from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. These are from nearby my home in neighboring towns. I will be taking more before Christmas day. Today is December 20, 2008. Altho I must admit that this year the people in one town are being much too subdued -- they are not being as bright and festive this year. I am determined to get pics of the best in the area. On the bright side, altho tree sales are down, I am seeing a few more trees in their living room windows again -- I have no pics of these yet. The song was requested by a friend of mine, a country-western mellow number called "Happy Holidays Baby."
