Sanriotown's Dream Studio section has been designed with both the novice and the seasoned user in mind. The user-centric interface is context-sensitive meaning that you will find your way around the application quite easily. In a matter of minutes, you can build eye-catching Flash Videos that are sure to impress your friends. Dream Studio is pre-loaded with a wide variety of special effects, and further experimentation will lead to mastery of the program. Only constant practice will make you a "power user". We give you the tools; you supply the imagination.
This guide will introduce you to the basics but if you wish to learn more advanced techniques and effects you can head to the next section, which thoroughly discusses each effect in detail.
Pay attention to the image below and you will notice that the interface is actually divided into two parts. The bounded red area is the Slide Control Box while the yellow bounded area is our Workspace.
This peach-colored box is the Slide Control Box. This is where you create new slides and input photos and movies. Slide duration can also be adjusted. The current build of Dream Studio section supports JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP for photos, and AVI, MPG, MPEG, MOV, and ASF for videos.

For this example, we are going to create three (3) slides, add introduce some simple effects.
Let's add a slide now by clicking on the "Add" button. Do this three times in sequence to make three. If you made a mistake don't worry, you can always delete a slide you don't need.

Select the slide you want to work on (in this case Slide 1) and click the "add" photo button. Select the image you want uploaded into the slide.
Aha! It appears that our image is bigger than the actual workspace. No worries. You can easily adjust the scale, rotate or flip the photo just like in any other commercial paint program.
Dragging on the at the right corner of the bounding box allows you to rotate the photo movie.
To resize the photo or movie, drag the bounding box.
For now, we'd like to adjust the image with the correct aspect ratio. Let's grab the upper left resize node and drag it towards the center so it fits, like so.
To further edit the effects you have added, first highlight them by clicking on them. An button will appear at either the top left or top right corner of the effect, with a bounding box around the effect as well. Clicking on the button will give you access to either cut, copy, paste, or delete the effects. You may also select the layer to display that effect, by either bring it to the front, or sending it to the back.
Alternately, you can also use the Photo control box on the left to make precise adjustments. Additionally, you can also flip, undo, redo and add a hyperlink to the image.
